The relationship that Wild Earth has with our agents is always evolving and we are constantly looking to improve as the expectations of our agents change. This is why we introduced our minimum bulk quantity of 6.
The smaller the quantity of bulk packs the more admin we need to do; this is because orders are broken up into more orders of smaller quantities. In other words there are more individual orders to keep track of through production and even when it comes to packing. As such we decided we would charge a 10% surcharge for bulk packs of 6-11. This 10% is based on the unit price of a style if it were sold in a pack of 12. For example if the 12 pack price is R100 per unit the 6 pack price will be R110 per unit. This means that each style will have 2 prices; one for orders between 6-11 units and then one for 12+ unit orders.
We want to encourage our agents to work their way to larger orders quantities and as such we offer a larger bulk pack of 12 units. These 12 packs will act as an incentive to grow; agents will have the opportunity to garner greater profits once they can work their way up to that 12 pack order.
This is a great opportunity for new agents starting out. You only need 6 orders to be able to place Wild Earth orders in bulk and will have more opportunity to test styles and see which ones work for your customers. The risk involved is also greatly reduced as you don't need to place orders that you cannot sell.
TIP: If you are looking to place an order of 11 units it makes more sense to rather place an order for 12. This is because each unit will be 10% more than in a 12 pack and you will be paying more for less. Example: if the units cost R100 in a 12 pack you will pay R1200 for a 12 pack. The units will cost R110 per unit if you order between 6-11 units. If you therefore order 11 you will pay R1210 for the 11 pack. As you can see it is cheaper to rather order 12 and you will get an extra unit as well that can be sold or kept.
